Baby's First Seat - Prince Lionheart BebePod

While shopping for a first seat for Ava, we had two things in mind - safety and comfort. Many of our friends use the bumbo seat but reading about the bumbo seat recalls prompted us to look for alternatives. It didn't take us long before we set our eyes on the Prince Lionheart BebePod.

Safety belt 
We were already won over when we saw the safety belts. There is a front safety belt to secure the baby to the seat so that she won't be able to wriggle or push her way out. The two side belts are for securing to a seat when you need a high chair, perfect and so convenient. 

Soft material
When we first saw the BebePod, it looked very tough and we thought it'd be hard. Upon touching it, we were surprised to find that it's made of a softer stretchable material. This is ideal for babies who are beginning to sit up and if doesn't hurt their fragile frame and still feels comfortable after sitting down for a longer stretch. No more attempting to carry baby with one arm and feeding with the other. 

Adjustable tray
This is perfect as it allows us to fit the seat with the adjustable tray during feeding time and we can remove it so it doesn't get in the way during play time. Makes cleaning up more convenient too as we can remove the tray for washing. 

Easy to clean
Babies are prone to messes. If we had to worry about removing the food stains, it would deny us more quality time spent with the kids. We love how easy it is to maintain and clean the BebePod. For cleaning of more stubborn stains, use a food grade detergent and wipe off with a cloth.

Complements lifestyle
On the go, moving between my parents' place and ours and this is so easy to transport. Doubles as a baby high chair when we attach the straps to a regular chair. Juggling two kids, we often have to divide our attention and time for each of them. With the BebePod, it allows us to have the both of them 'play' in the same space. 

Stylish design
We are pretty selective in the furniture, toys and accessories we get for Aiden and Ava. One very important criteria is its design. With a Scandinavian minimalist theme to our home decor, we love how this baby seat goes well in the living room, at the balcony and in her bedroom. It doesn't look too kiddy and looks good in pictures too! 

Cool colors
Available in an array of attractive colors including blue, pink and cool grey, we got the one in grey as it matches our home and it's super versatile in pictures.
